Software Consultancy

  • This will include identifying the needs of operations by liaising with board of directors, retail operations managers, audit, sales & marketing and accounts to come up with solutions for their requirements.
  • Software evaluations & coordinating with vendors.
  • Ensure the delivery of software products per plan in an optimal time, with changing Requirements
  • Evaluate operational requests to determine feasibility, cost/ time required, compatibility with current system capabilities, etc.

Standardizing Operations

  • Introducing best practices according to the software systems implemented and according to the industrial standards
  • Introducing and integrating new technologies
  • Performance of routine audits of software and systems.

Managing of the IT department

  • Will work with the company"s representative (IT Manager / executive) to manage and/or track/coordinate software related projects.
  • Includes the operational assistance to maintain the software systems in use.
  • Database level maintenance support such as optimizing data, maintenance plans, etc.
  • User security and system security maintenance.
  • Lead weekly meetings as necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the IT department’s performances.
  • Employee evaluation and appraisals.

Project Coordination

  • Project labs (Pvt) Ltd as the software consultant will be in charge of any software implementation.
  • Scheduling and executing the implementation targets.
  • Project reporting such as status reports, project plans, forecasting, etc.
  • Preparations of user requirements documentation.
  • Coordinating with the solutions provider with regard to requirements.
  • User sign off processes in new implementations
  • Identifying the problems faced by the users at the implementation level and
  • Suggesting solutions.
  • Auditing the system functions
  • Auditing user activities in the system usage.
  • Ensure all retail software related functions/organizations affected by software changes are adequately prepared and trained.
  • Provide technical leadership across project related departmental activities.

Documentation

  • Documentations of operational as well as system functions where there is an involvement of software systems.
    Ex. Daily operational guide on using software at showrooms, head office, etc
